HVA’s Flight Department is led by Kley Lucas, an experienced pilot with over 10,000 flight hours in the Utility/Powerline helicopter industry.

Kley’s career in aviation started as a Warrant Officer and maintenance test pilot in the U.S. Army over 33 years ago. He spent time in Germany, Iraq, and Turkey. Following his time in the military, Kley was able to serve in multiple leadership positions, including Director of Flight Operations, Vice President of Operation, and President and CEO of a large utility helicopter company. With this wealth of knowledge and know-how, Kley and his 22 years of experience are a great asset to the HVA team.
